Congratulations Raleigh Parkers! We had our second consecutive month with more than 200 kids participating in Passport Club with 24 students joining for the first time. Piper-Smyer’s class has the highest class participation with 97%, great job guys! However, Mr. Moore’s class has taken over the lead in total number of countries learned, the race is on!
Special Itinerary started in October with 18 kids studying this advanced level. If your child consistently has studied 5 levels in Passport Club and is ready for an additional challenge, please have them request a Special Itinerary map from their teacher.
Our program has grown in popularity and in order for it to run smoothly there are a few reminders that we’d like to send out. First, we still need a few more volunteers who can come in by 8:00am on test day to test students. Please contact Sage at firstname.lastname@example.org if you can help. Second, please remind children that they should only participate in test day if they have studied at home and have at least one level of countries memorized. And lastly, after testing, children need to return their passports to the bins on the stamps table in order to get their points counted (not the bins by the front door). Passport will go home with all students at the end of the year.
November study maps will be sent home in all Friday folders so be on the look out. And thank you to all those parents out there that helped to make this possible by studying at home and/or by helping to test the kids. We really appreciate all that you do!
