Welcome to 2014!

Raleigh Park’s Learner Profile focus for January is REFLECTIVE. You are being REFLECTIVE if you learn from past mistakes, try to find ways to be better (set goals), and you think about your learning and find ways to improve. Some classrooms have been REFLECTIVE about their learning (and/or behavior) in 2013 and made resolutions for 2014. These are on display in the hallways. Be sure to take a look.

Raleigh Park teachers have finished planning their first Units of Inquiry and will begin teaching them between now and Spring Break. Over the rest of this year and next six units will be developed that fall under the 6 Themes set by the PYP; Who we are, Where we are in place and time, How we express ourselves, How the world works, How we Organize ourselves, and Sharing the planet.
