SCRIP Program

Raleigh Park is participating in a SCRIP gift card program.

SCRIP allows families to donate money to Raleigh Park by simply buying gift cards for stores that they already shop at. It is a dollar for dollar exchange. For example, if you purchase a $100 gift card for Fred Meyer through Raleigh Park’s SCRIP program, it will cost you $100, and the gift card will be worth $100 toward any purchase at Fred Meyer stores. Why bother? Between 3% and 43% – depending on the participating store – will go to Raleigh Park.

Frequently asked questions

What is Scrip? Scrip is a fundraising program. It allows Raleigh Park (or any non profit organization) to sell gift cards from local restaurants and retail stores to its members. Merchants then donate a percentage of the gift card sales to your organization.

How do I order Scrip? Look for the personal order form in your child’s Friday Folder or download, print and fill out an order form. The school office also has some extras on hand.  Click here to download the latest SCRIP order form.
How often may I order? Scrip orders will be placed once a month this school year. You may pick up your Friday order in the school office or have your order returned to you in your eldest child’s backpack.

Where does Scrip money go? Scrip profits are donated directly to Raleigh Park PTO, which are then used to support PTO programs, activities, etc.

How much does it cost to participate?  You’ll have to pay face value for a gift card for a favorite store or restaurant, but you’ll get the same amount of value on the card to use.  So, in the end, it does not cost you anything to participate.
