Family Support

There are many resources available to Raleigh Park students and their families. Here is some more information.

Reach out to Ana Lasich with any questions.

  • We always encourage families to apply for meal benefits to minimize their risk of accumulating debt. Meal benefit eligibility has been expanded with additional funds from the state to cover families whose income is up to 300% of poverty. Applications are accepted throughout the year and families can apply again if they have a change in their situation – add someone to the household, lose a job, etc.

  • Raleigh Park runs Project BACK to put healthy food in the bellies of our students. Project Backpack Assistance and Care for our Kids (BACK) is a free service providing food for families to take home over the weekend and holidays. Each week backpacks are filled with nutritious, kid-friendly, easy-to-prepare food and are discretely distributed to students.

We also run Project SNACK, which provides healthy SNACKS to any student who needs one in the classroom.

  • Translation services for school meetings, including parent-teacher conferences and special education meetings, are provided to families in need, free of charge. When registering for school, be sure to indicate that you need an interpreter, and you will automatically be added to our interpreter list. When meetings come up, we will connect with you to coordinate an interpreter for such meetings. If you don't believe your family is signed up for interpreting services, we encourage you to reach out to the main office, where our administrative assistants can help update your child's Synergy account to reflect that you would like an interpreter for meetings.

  • The Tiger Den is a place at RP where students can get items they need like clothing, personal hygiene products, sportswear and equipment, houseware, and bedding quickly and easily right at Raleigh Park School.

If you’d like access to the Tiger Den, contact Ana Lasich at ana_lasich@beaverton.k12.or.us.

  • Raleigh Park After School Care Association is an independent nonprofit organization providing quality childcare services for families of Raleigh Park Elementary — right here on school grounds! RPASCA is governed by a small group of volunteer parent board members and staffed by experienced, professional, and dedicated caregivers.

Financial assistance is available! Follow the link below to learn more and apply.
