Raleigh Park 2024 Jog-A-Thon
Friday April 26th

This our biggest fundraiser of the year and is a fun way to fund all the programs, field trips, author visits, and everything else for next school year.

Pledges due Monday, May 6, 2024

Pledge envelopes are available in the front office for those that want them!!!

What is JogAThon?

Students walk, run, or jog the track with their grade. They’ll also have the opportunity to cheer on other students!  Students will focus on goal setting, doing their best and having fun with healthy, heart-pumping exercise! Students are encouraged to collect donations from friends, family and neighbors. Funds raised will support Raleigh Park’s wonderful programs and activities that our Tigers count on each year.

Adults can join in the fun, too! Volunteer or come cheer students on!

We can use lots of volunteer support to help set up the festivities (balloon arch, bubble machine, ipad stands, snack station, etc).  We would like at least 5-6 parent volunteers per grade.  There’s also always parents cheering their students on as they run around the track. Look out for your student’s run time in coming communications!

If you sign up to volunteer on BetterImpact, you get a free JogAThon shirt!

Raffles! Prizes! Celebrations!

To get everyone excited about the JogAThon, we’ll be running weekly raffles during lunchtime.  Each student can earn a raffle prize entry by asking for a pledge, trying their best in PE, or showing their school spirit during Spirit week. We’ll draw our grand prize winners on the day of the JogAThon.

Fundraising with Pledgestar

Students can use PledgeStar’s online platform to collect donations.

Leading up to the JogAThon and the week after, students can collect pledges through Pledgestar’s online fundraising platform! If you have any questions, we’re happy to help!

  1. To set up a PledgeStar account, please visit www.Pledgestar.com/Raleigh

  2. Parents are encouraged to help their student(s) create a free, personal space where pledge requests can be sent via email or text message

  3. Friends, family and neighbors can make secure credit card donations online

  4. PledgeStar even divides pledges among multiple children in the household

  5. You can track your joggers’ progress on their individual page.

  6. Students can collect cash or check donations and deliver them to the front office with their full name and teacher on the front.

This year, we aim to get as many kids talking about the JogAThon to our community as possible!  This is an opportunity for students to engage with others and talk about their own goals.  We’ve set community goals around participation and fundraising. Local businesses in our community have helped us jumpstart this event by donating — our sponsors are listed below, and you will see on the back of our t-shirts and on our website!
