Come cheer our student on at the JogAThon

(A note from Mr. Mori)

Hello Raleigh Park Families,

Next Friday (April 26) is our school's annual Jog-A-Thon event.  This message is for family members who are planning to visit the school as spectators to watch and cheer for our students.   (The grade level schedules are further below in this message.)

When you arrive, there will be outdoor signs that will direct you towards the north sidewalk by the staff parking lot.  Please do not enter through the building, so that we can maintain a normal environment inside our school.  Spectators will be required to sign-in at a station (outdoor) by the sidewalk entrance.  From there you will see a specific zone that is designated for spectators:  the grassy area near the north portables and along the north side of the track.  This zone is designed to keep spectators away from our playground area, where other students will be experiencing their normal schedule of recesses.

(Note: The district policy for spectators is different from the policy for volunteers.  Volunteers need to be approved through our district volunteer application system which includes a background check.  This application process is not necessary for spectators, as long as they sign-in and follow the security protocols for the given event.)
