The Raleigh Park Garden Committee Looking for an Education Lead!

Come share your passion for plants with our students!

The Education Lead role is responsible for coordinating two Garden Lessons per year, one in late October/early November and one in late March/Early April for each classroom.  You’ll work with a team of Classroom Leads to help bring these hands-on garden experiences to our students, similar to how the Art Literature Program is coordinated. 

The Education Lead(s) will join the Curation Lead (Chantel Gorton) and Maintenance Lead (Megan McMillan) in sustaining our amazing Raleigh Park School Garden.

When you apply, we’ll provide the full list of Education Lead responsibilities and details about what’s involved. If desired, the position could be shared by two individuals; one who is responsible for coordinating the fall lesson, and the other responsible for the spring lesson.

Interested in being a Classroom Lead? No gardening experience is required for lesson support! 
Most Classroom Lead positions will be fulfilled by the Fir Grove Garden Club, however please reach out to chantelgorton@gmail.com if you would like to be trained for a Classroom Lead position. Opportunities to support lessons for your child's classroom will be shared when lesson dates and times are landed. 

All Garden Volunteers must have completed a background check through Raptor.
