Raleigh Park needs volunteers!
Big or small, your involvement helps energize our school and build opportunities for our students
Volunteer Needs
Volunteering offers a great way to explore Raleigh Park Elementary and connect with teachers, staff, and fellow parents. We’re excited to invite parents (or grandparents!) to help lead fun programs and activities. If you’re not able to take on a leadership role, don’t worry—you can still make a big impact by joining a committee or signing up for a shift at an upcoming event!
Please contact us at volunteer@raleighparkpto.org with any questions or to learn about current ways to help 🐾
Be Volunteer Ready
Once your volunteer application is approved, sign-up for volunteering info and updates on ParentSquare.
Your time and energy are what make our Raleigh Park community thrive.
Whether you join us for one event or every week, your involvement makes a difference. We deeply appreciate every volunteer and look forward to working together to create amazing experiences for our students.

The BSD Volunteer System ensures a secure environment for students and staff.
Every volunteer—whether helping in the classroom, chaperoning a field trip, or assisting at events—must complete a background check every two years. This quick process keeps everyone protected and ready to participate at a moment’s notice.
We recommend completing your BSD profile early even if you only help occasionally. It’s better to be approved and ready when opportunities arise.

It only takes a few minutes to get approved to volunteer at Raleigh Park. Make sure to follow all the steps on the school district's volunteer page!
They include:
Review the Mandatory Volunteer Training
Complete a Volunteer Application: Required for all volunteers and renewed every two years during your birthday month.
Stay Updated: Once approved, volunteers can find activity sign-ups in ParentSquare. Community Members should visit the Community Groups and select "Raleigh Park Elementary School Community Volunteers" to join our volunteer community.

When your volunteer application is approved, parents and guardians can then look for activity sign-ups and volunteer information in ParentSquare. Community Members should make sure to visit the Community Groups webpage and select "Raleigh Park Elementary School Community Volunteers" in order to receive information about volunteer opportunities specific to our school.
