Volunteer Needs
Volunteering offers a great way to explore Raleigh Park Elementary and connect with teachers, staff, and fellow parents. We’re excited to invite parents (or grandparents!) to help lead fun programs and activities. If you’re not able to take on a leadership role, don’t worry—you can still make a big impact by joining a committee or signing up for a shift at an upcoming event!

Beaverton School District requires all volunteers to have a current background check and register in the Beaverton School District Volunteer Management System.
All volunteers must complete a profile in that system before volunteering. Background checks are mandatory and automatically conducted every two years. Even if you won’t volunteer regularly, it's a good idea to complete this at the start of the year, so you're cleared and prepared if you decide to help with a class field trip or party.
You will be asked to reauthorize a background check every two years during your birthday month. The district will contact you via email.
Be Volunteer Ready
You need to be cleared by the BSD to volunteer. Here's a handy video on how to update your info. Whether you can volunteer for one hour or 100 hours, we appreciate any time you give. Your contributions help shape the Raleigh Park community! The district transitioned to a new volunteer platform called Raptor in September 2024.
